Comment: I have visited the area and the valley many times, it is a beautiful and peaceful part of the world. The proposed development would mean that Barranco Blanco would never be the same and future generations would be denied the experience of this valley. I strongly disagree with this development and offer my support by signing the petition. |

Comment: I have never visited these places but understand that this type od development should NEVER take place in the countryside. Not content with destroying the coastal areas, the whole of the interior of Andalusia is under threat. I disagree with any large development that inevitably affects the infrastructure of these inland towns and villages. I support your efforts and am prepared to sign your petition |

Muak |

Comment: We have visited the Barranco Blanco last New Year and it is a wonderful, peaceful and quiet piece of nature in the over-build Costa del Sol.Allowing 1500 additional houses equals destroying this piece of nature and will make it hard to enjoy and live there.I can't believe this is even being considered, does money really rules everything? And will this be of benefit to the Spanish? No, they'll be a clear minority in Alhaurin....Local decision makers should study the example of Alentejo (Portugal) and Tuscany (Italy) where it is forbidden to construct new houses, and even restauring old ones is strictly regulated: the result is a beautiful landscape, peace and quiet and respect for nature and the original habitat.Respect instead of brutal financial imperialism, that's the choice to be made.I have made mine. |

Comment: We now live in Valencia but have lived in Alhaurin before, you are spoiling it with your greed, and need to wake up to the area's beauty that you have, and are taking for granted.Theres enough concrete in Spain as it is,let its' remaining beauty shine through and make it a country to still be pride of.We will never move back to Alhaurin, simply, it's not Alhaurin anymore. |

Comment: This typical Spanish valley of breathtaking beauty and outstanding tranquility should always be left undisturbed for people to enjoy the natural environment. It doesn't need another golf course; the infrastructure won't support it and it will do nothing for the residents. This is greed by developers, pure and simple. It should not be allowed to proceed. I totally support the campaign to stop it. |

Comment: I feel privileged to have been able to spend time in the area of alhaurin these last few years, especially barranco blanco. This is such a special area as it is a breath of fresh air from the rat-race in the uk and concrete jungles of the spanish coast. The area has character and individuality which is being destroyed forever by men in suits with euro signs in front of their eyes - this makes me so sad. I fully support the campaign to stop the development. |

Comment: These proposals are complete madness. We fully support the wholly justifiable demands listed. The location of these proposed developments in an area with its unique and vital ecological factors do not make any long term sense. We have all seen how over-development has already spoilt parts of the Coast. We must not let this happen inland as well. |
